If you read his diary, He didn't see even a single case of Japanese killing civilians. He only saw dead bodies.
Oddly "bodies with vaginas thrusted" he saw are resemble to how Chinese soldiers killed Japanese at Tongzhou Massacre ( 200 Japanese/Korean civilians living in China under agreement were brutally massacred in Tongzhou 4 month before Nankin battle).

John Rabe says, “800000 fled away” before the battle. This is consistent to the Durdin's article, only 200000 people remained from more than one million Nanking city population.
John Rabe talks about Chinese patient brought to western doctors lying to save money. Does this mean all the Chinese civilian victims brought to John Magee or MacColumn lie by saying “Japanese attacked me.”, so that they are considered as war victims and get a free treatment even when it is civilian crimes among 20K population?
John Rabe says Chinese KMT trying to take over Nanking. He also says there was the air raid over Nanking by Chinese. He worried that one single bomb could kill 1000 lives. This confirms that Nanking battle was not over, yet until the end of January. This justifies Japanese killing captured Chinese soldiers on December.
